Having noesis is important in every party, whether it be a totalitarian confederacy, or a democratic ordination. In Platos Republic, Socrates and his interlocutors discuss how to meliorate children. Is it right to keep them outlaw, or should they be allowed to study all and every subject(s). The education of children is very important because they are the future of the society. They are the possible rulers, philosophers, guardians, and so on. So, it is important to shape them wisely. This is because the government wants people to be well-educated so that they can understand what goes on in society. We believe that knowledge is at its best when everyone is educated with everything, and Socrates believes that knowledge is at its best when it is cleaned up and censored.
